PROJECT 365 WEEK 13

85. Jonson had us over at his '4 timezone' house for a feast. Despite being super late, I managed to gobble down Jonson's mum's homemade fish lasagne because it was so delicious! Jie, mund, Helena and Jonson were playing mahjong while Agnes and I watched. I used to play mahjong with my grandfather when I was in primary 4. Those days seem ancient and so is my memory of the game.

86. After having my long awaited Ayam Goreng Mcd for lunch, Jie and I spontaneously decided to watch District 9. So much for not being a movie person. I watched 2 movies in the same week!
It's not too bad for a low budget movie. The first half hour was relatively boring but when you start to get the hang of the movie, it's quite enjoyable.

87. Traffic lights!
The 4 of us, Jie and Benson were at Neway for 3 hours worth of singing. Edmund was, as always, the star of the night doing a few solos, followed by Benson's heart wrenching singing in English, Mandrin, Cantonese and Malay. I've gotten so accustomed to having more chinese songs than english songs at karaoke sessions in Dublin. This must have been the first where I did not ask 'What does this song mean?' =p

88. Thai dinner at Sri Ayutthia.
This is a candid shot of me by May. I had my nails done the afternoon before dinner. As you can see, I'm trying to be extra careful with my nails just in case it gets into my hair and ruin the varnish. In addition to that, I was suffering from a major sore throat because I was able to sing majority of the songs that were chosen in the previous nights' karaoke! Lol.
*shakes head* The things we sacrifice to enjoy ourselves fully.

89. At times, drivers with the smallest of cars tend to think they're notoriously huge on the road.
This Kancil was right in the middle of the yellow box with so much more room to move in front of her (if it's not bob, it's a woman in the driver's seat but it's BOTH this time round) so that the Jazz and I can cross. I was literally BOILING and at the brink of erupting. I took my camera out of my bag, I even had the time to adjust my camera settings, then take a picture of her godforsaken car in the box. These are the people who create unnecessary traffic in KL. I think May would agree with me that JPJ should fail these people with no road etiquette instead of those who can't complete a 3 point turn.

90. On a more cheerful note, it was Agnes' 21st birthday celebration at Vintry on Saturday night. I was the only person who ordered a Malaysian dish, Coconut rice platter. On a normal basis I wouldn't have. But with only 15 more days to London, I decided not to dwell on any Western dishes till I get back. Thanks for the yummy dinner sweetieNes!

91. Lunch at Sage was postponed to the week after so we had goose for lunch at Cheras. (it sounds far for a person living in TTDI, but you've no idea how far and early Msians drive out to have a good meal, eh Helena? ;p)
