My 21st at Home!

Yes, I'm back.. After my holidays in London and, what we all hate most, exams.Before leaving Dublin I was about to blog about my.. (can't believe I'm saying this) birthday which happened a very long time ago.So I'm just gonna kick off from where I last left.Btw, most of these were written a month ago so don't get confused. Lol.

I knew it. By the time I blog about my birthday, it would be Xmas. Lol.
I had a really busy November and December which is a good thing because after this, the amount of time I have here in Dublin (excluding the exam period) is very minimal.
So to cut to the chase, here's my early 21st birthday surprise my parents organized for me back home in Malaysia.

21st B'DAY SURPRISE @ LAS CARRETAS
It's this Mexican Restaurant where my dad celebrated his birthday during the summer as well. But I wasn't around for that.

Jie and I, before going out.It was supposed to be a normal family dinner encompassing mummy, daddy, may, ming, jie and I. Lil did I know what all of them were up to!

So Jie, Ming, May and I arrived in one car while my parents came from work. While we were looking for a parking lot, I spotted Helena's car. And like any normal person, my reaction was 'Hey! That's Helena!'Jie was pretty smart and played along, so he called Helena and asked her what was she doing there. Anyway, I still thought it was a coincidence as she was working opposite La Carretas during the summer.
Met my mum on the way in and was startled by the length of the dining table. AND Joee's and Jin's presence. Lol.
Damn right I was surprised! Reminded me of the time WanLin, Melissa and Strahan surprised me for my 20th birthday in Dublin. It's either really easy to surprise me or.. I'm just a sucker for surprises.

We were so stuffed with Mexican food, we shared a few desserts which look so good right now!(I've this self-diagnosed thing called Post Exam Eating Disorder. Because I don't eat "right" during the exams, once my last paper ends, I tend to crave for a lot of things! The 3 kgs I lost during the exams will eventually come back! Boo!)


My dearest family and I.The story about the sombrero; you know how typical restaurants like Friday's, Italliannies and what-have-yous will sing birthday songs to the bday boy/girl? Well, in Friday's they make you stand on a chair. Here they make you wear the sombrero and take a picture of you, nicely framed La Carretas style.

It was a really great birthday dinner surprise. Never knew my parents put thought to these kinda things when they've got so much stuff to shoulder at work. Thank you mummy and daddy and the rest who came!
One thing I cannot forget from that night was the question May asked me.
May: *points discretely at Edmund*Is that Agnes' bf, Loong?
Me: *gives the look of disbelief, horror, shock, and the list goes on..*

Anyway, it's time for me to really catch up on updating my blog. I'm still in the midst of packing and of course, catching up with the many series that I used to be hooked on to last semester. Well, I made a promise to myself to abstain from Gossip Girl, Grey's, OTH this term and hopefully it has paid off.
Right now, I'm gonna cook myself a packet of IndoMee Goreng for supper and enjoy New Moon. Toddles!
